E.C. Driver & Associates, Inc. is a full-service, Florida based engineering company.  The firm was founded by Ernest Carl Driver in Tallahassee in 1984 and has since opened offices in Tampa and Boca Raton.  In January, 1995, ECDA was acquired by URS.  The firm now functions as a wholly owned subsidiary of URS, one of the world’s largest engineering firms.  Last year, E.C. Driver's annual billings were over $10 million. 

ECDA's current staff numbers over 70 and includes 32 registered professional engineers. Our success is due in large part to the outstanding qualifications of our staff.  In the movable bridge industry in particular, we are nationally recognized for expertise in structural engineering, heavy machinery, control systems and fluid power systems.  We are also adept at developing innovative, project specific solutions that combine aesthetics with safety, reliability and economy for our clients.
